Grand Orient of Slovenia

In the year 1994 (according to the Masonic calendar), during the granting of the light from the Grand Lodge for men and women of Germany in Heidelberg, Germany, the Saint Germain Lodge (Orient Tabor) was established. This lodge is also the mother lodge of the Grand Orient of Slovenia. Its first Worshipful Master was Brother Aristid Havliček (Tili).

As membership grew, new lodges were founded: Ex Oriente Lux Lodge and Sanctum Sanctorum Lodge.

With the support of these three lodges, the Grand Orient of Slovenia was established. The lodges that founded the Grand Orient of Slovenia are Saint Germain Lodge, Ex Oriente Lux Lodge, and Sanctum Sanctorum Lodge. Thus, in the year 2012, with the assistance and light brought in from the Grand Orient of Austria, the Grand Orient of Slovenia was established in Celje.

Later, the Hermes Lodge in the Zagreb Orient and the male-only Triglav Lodge in the Ljubljana Orient were also founded.

VOS is a mixed, liberal, and adogmatic obedience.

The Grand Orient of Slovenia is currently a member of the following international Masonic associations:
